Second Year University Project - Fine Art In Society

2023-2024

This is a collection of my Second-year work at the University. I plan to put each of my university years and modules from that year into projects to show the personal and creative growth through my time in my Degree. This project was for my ‘Fine Art In Society’ module. For this project I focused on Queer Theory and the social stigma of the LGBT community, making my queer relationship the centre of it to give that emotional and passionate connection from myself to the viewer. I used this project to spend more time on bigger paintings, allowing myself time and connection with each piece. I was able to experiment with new things in printmaking and with glow-in-the-dark painting touches.

This project started with a Photoshoot which is in a separate project called ‘Perception of Queer Love’ since there are so many photos for it.
