First Year University Project - Contemporary Approaches to Drawing

This is a collection of my first-year work at the University. I plan to put each of my university years and modules from that year into projects to show the personal and creative growth through my time in my Degree. This project was for my ‘Contemporary Approaches to Drawing’ module. We started out looking at different techniques and ways of doing art including my favourite look and draw, an observation drawing technique. After that, we specialised in a project theme where I took on Gender Identity: A Journey through my Transition, which lined up nicely with my Surgery I used the recovery photographs and the photos from the day before through recovery towards this project. This showed my passion and emotional connection with this project.
